The Société Anonyme under the corporate name ‘COSMOTE PAYMENTS – E-MONEY SERVICES SINGLE-MEMBER SOCIÉTÉ ANONYME’ (hereinafter ‘COSMOTE Payments’ or the ‘Organiser’), seated in Marousi, Attica (99, Kifissias Avenue) is organising a promo titled ‘20% payzy cashback on Smartwatches, Gadgets, Headphones & Audio Products from GEREMANOS/COSMOTE TELEKOM’ (hereinafter the ‘Promo’), under which holders of payzy payment cards by COSMOTE Payments will receive a 20% cashback, as defined below, on the final payable purchase value of products falling within the Smartwatches, Gadgets, Headphones & Audio Products categories and satisfy the criteria set out in these terms, provided that the relevant transaction for the purchase of said products are carried out with these cards. The cashback is granted for each transaction involving the purchase of Smartwatches, Gadgets, Headphones & Audio Products (including Apple products) with a final payable value of ninety-nine euros (€99) or more per product at the stores of the companies ‘GERMANOS INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL COMPANY OF ELECTRONIC-TELECOMMUNICATION MATERIALS AND SUPPLY OF TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES SINGLE MEMBER SOCIETE ANONYME’ (hereinafter ‘GERMANOS’) and ‘HELLENIC TELECOMMUNICATIONS ORGANIZATION S.A.’ (hereinafter ‘OTE’). For the purposes of these terms, 'Stores' shall mean the physical retail stores of the companies GERMANOS and OTE, their online stores (germanos.gr & cosmote.gr), as well as the stores of their commercial partners (licensees) operating under the GERMANOS & COSMOTE trademarks (hereinafter 'Stores’).
The purpose of these terms (hereinafter the ‘Terms’) is to define the rights and obligations of the participants and the Organiser in the context of the Promo.
1. All consumers who are permanent residents of Greece, who have a Greek tax identification number (TIN) and are legally competent, who are at least 18 years old and have an account with COSMOTE Payments in their name, and who are holders of the virtual and/or physical payzy VISA debit card (hereinafter 'Card'[1]) that is/are connected to the above payment account (hereinafter 'Participant(s)') are eligible to participate in the Promo.
2. The duration of the Promo, within which Participants must have completed their purchases as per these Terms, is from 00:00:01 on 20/04/2026 through 23:59:59 on 10/05/2026 (hereinafter the ‘Duration’).
3. The Promo applies to payment transactions exclusively for purchases of Smartwatches, Gadgets, Headphones and Audio Products (including Apple products), as listed on the websites germanos.gr and cosmote.gr, with a final payable value per item of ninety-nine euros (€99) or more, carried out using the Card. If the final payable value of a product included in the Promo does not exceed ninety-nine euros (€99), the payzy cashback will not be granted for that product, regardless of the total value of the transaction. All other transactions carried out at the Stores are also expressly excluded, including, by way of example, bill payments, mobile talk time top-ups, the purchase of services related to the participating products, and the purchase of gift cards. If the final payable value of a transaction arises from the combined purchase of products participating in the Promo and other products (or services) not participating therein, only the value of the products included in the Promo shall be taken into account for the purposes of granting the Cashback, provided that their final payable value per product exceeds the amount specified above.
4. In order for participation in the Promo to be valid, participants must pay in full the purchase price, within the Duration, directly and exclusively using the Card at the Stores and not in any other way, such as, for example, when the Participant uses their Card for payment upon delivery via the courier POS.
5. The Participant shall receive an amount in euros in their payment account with COSMOTE Payments (hereinafter 'Cashback') corresponding to 20% of the final payable value of the products that fall under the Promo, in accordance with the Terms.
6. The maximum amount of Cashback that can be credited per payment account under the Promo is two hundred euros (€200), irrespective of the value of the products purchased and the amount and the number of transactions that the Participant carries out.
7. The Promo shall not apply if the final value of any product included in the Promo is less than ninety-nine euros (€99), for any reason, even due to any discount, offer, or other privilege offered by the Stores. It is clarified that the minimum amount of ninety-nine euros (€99) applies per product, after the deduction of any discounts (e.g. subsidies, discount vouchers, etc.), and not on the basis of the total final payable value of the transaction.
8. In addition to the foregoing, the Participant, within the framework of the ‘Coins’ Loyalty Programme, shall collect a number of Coins corresponding to the amount of the transaction carried out using the Card, which Coins may be redeemed in accordance with the terms of that programme as set out in the Terms of Use of the ‘payzy’ App.
9. The Cashback will be paid after fifteen (15) days from the date of execution of the payment transaction, provided that the payment transaction effected with the Card has been cleared.
10. COSMOTE Payments shall bear no liability towards the Participants and/or any third party for any direct or indirect damages, costs or expenses that may arise from any interruption, malfunction, delay, or any other cause related to the implementation of the Promo.
11. COSMOTE Payments’ liability is strictly limited to paying the Cashback. COSMOTE Payments bears no further liability, nor is it involved in or does it intervene in any problem that may arise in relation with the Stores’ products, for which the latter are solely liable. No Cashback shall be paid if the products purchased under the present Promo are returned to the Store for any reason, with a corresponding refund credited to the Participant’s account, or are exchanged for other products of the Stores that do not fall within the category of Smartwatches, Gadgets, Headphones & Audio Products, or are exchanged for a credit voucher redeemable against future purchases, or where the exchange of the product takes place outside the Duration, or in any other case where the present Terms are not complied with. In the event that the Cashback has already been paid and, within two (2) months from the date of purchase, the product in respect of which such Cashback was granted is returned or exchanged for another product that does not fall within the scope of the present Terms, for any reason whatsoever, COSMOTE Payments reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to proceed at any time and without prior notice to the Participant to reverse the corresponding amount of Cashback credited in respect of such product to the Participant’s payment account.
12. The data controller is the Organiser, namely the société anonyme with the corporate name ‘COSMOTE PAYMENTS – E-MONEY SERVICES SINGLE-MEMBER SOCIÉTÉ ANONYME’, with its headquarters in Marousi, Attica, (99, Kifissias Avenue), Tax ID No: 800995166.
The following personal data of the Participants (hereinafter the “Data Subjects”) shall be collected and processed in order for them to participate in the Promo:
- The details of the Card used to make the payment.
- The date and time of execution of the payment transaction.
- Product codes from the categories of Smartwatches, Gadgets, Headphones and Audio Products.
- The final payable value of the product.
- The COSMOTE Payments payment account number.
The data are collected for the purpose of carrying out the Promo in accordance with these Terms and to serve the contract concluded between the Participants and COSMOTE Payments, based on which the Participants maintain an account with COSMOTE Payments, lawfully hold a Card or Cards that are connected to the above payment account, and use said Card or Cards as a means of payment of the price of their transactions, in accordance with the terms of the General Information regarding Personal Data Protection, which you can find here. Under these terms, the personal data collected are retained for a period of five (5) years from the date of execution of the payment transaction. Upon expiry of this deadline, the data shall be deleted, unless another provision of law or regulatory act requires them to be stored for a longer period, which cannot exceed ten (10) years (e.g. for tax purposes).
13. The Participants have the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data, which are met under the terms and conditions of the applicable legislation:
• Right of access: the right to receive information about the personal data subject to processing (e.g. the purposes of processing, the types of data, the recipients to whom they are communicated, the period for which they are retained) and to be provided copies thereof.
• Right to rectification: the right to request the correction of their data (e.g. correction of contact details).
• Right to erasure: the right to request the deletion of their personal data if they are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were processed or if they withdraw their consent.
• Right to restriction of processing: the right to request the restriction of processing for a specific purpose.
• Right to object: the right to object, in cases in which they do not want their personal data to be processed.
• Right to portability: the right to transfer the data to another controller.
14. The Organiser has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) based on the provisions of the applicable legislation. To contact the Data Protection Officer, data subjects may send an e-mail to customerprivacy@cosmotepayments.gr.
In order to exercise their rights, Participants may send:
a. an e-mail to customerprivacy@cosmotepayments.gr or
b. a fax to +30 2102511888 or
c. a letter to COSMOTE Payments Customer Service, 99 Kifissias Ave., GR-15124, Marousi, regarding ‘Exercising of Personal Data Rights’, stating their full name and their mobile telephone or landline connection number.
15. Data Subjects retain the right to lodge a complaint, via a special web portal, with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Athens, 1-3 Kifissias Avenue, 115 23 | tel: +30 210 6475600). Detailed instructions for submitting a complaint are provided on the Authority’s website.
The Organiser shall respond to the requests free of charge without delay, within one (1) month from the receipt of the request. In exceptional cases, this deadline may be extended by two (2) months, if the complexity of the request so requires. In any case, the Organiser shall make notification regarding this extension and the reason for the delay.
If it is found that the request is clearly unfounded or excessive, the Organiser reserves the right to request payment of a reasonable fee to its satisfaction, taking into account the administrative costs for its execution or even to refuse to follow up the request.
16. The Organiser shall take appropriate organisational and technical measures to secure the data and protect them from accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, prohibited dissemination or access, and any other form of unlawful processing.
17. To the extent allowable under the legislation in force, the Organiser shall not be liable for leaks of the Participants’ personal data due to their disclosure of any of the data via third-party or other internet sites.
18. Terms 12 to 18 pertain to the collection and processing of personal data of Participants in the context of Promo. In all other respects, the processing of the personal data of the Data Subjects upon commencement and during the implementation of their contractual relationship with COSMOTE Payments (indicatively, registering with the ‘payzy’ app, carrying out transactions, etc.) shall take place in accordance with the terms of the General Information regarding Personal Data Protection, which is available here.
19. The Terms shall continue to bind Participants even after the expiry of the Promo and for as long as the right of access to the content is retained, in accordance with the above.
20. During the Promo, the Organiser reserves the right to amend and/or revoke it, change the Duration or any other of its terms, change or amend the percentage of Cashback and its method of payment, informing Participants by any appropriate means (e.g. by e-mail or push notification or text message or via its website).
21. Participation in the Promo requires and implies the explicit and unreserved acceptance of all these Terms. Furthermore, the Organiser shall not be liable for any malfunction that may result in the temporary or permanent cessation of the Promo.
22. Participants must act legally and within the framework of fair dealing and these Terms. If any Participant act or omission is deemed by COSMOTE Payments as illegal, abusive, or non-contractual, then the latter reserves the right, among other things, to disqualify the Participant from the Promo.
23. These Terms are governed by Greek law and any dispute as to their interpretation and/or application shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Athens, with express prorogation of any other local jurisdiction.
