The société anonyme with the trade name COSMOTE PAYMENTS – E-MONEY SERVICES SINGLE-MEMBER SOCIÉTÉ ANONYME (hereinafter 'COSMOTE Payments' or 'Organiser'), whose registered offices are in Marousi, Attica (99 Kifissias Ave.), is organising a promotional activity titled '20% payzy cashback on TVs & projectors at GERMANOS/COSMOTE' (hereinafter 'Promo'), under which holders of payzy payment cards by COSMOTE Payments will receive 20% cashback on the value of purchases made with those cards, exclusively for products in the televisions & projectors categories. The payzy cashback is granted for each transaction involving the purchase of the above-mentioned products, with a final value per item of two hundred and forty-nine euros (€249) or more, at the retail stores of the companies 'GERMANOS INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL COMPANY OF ELECTRONIC-TELECOMMUNICATION MATERIALS AND SUPPLY OF TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES SINGLE MEMBER SOCIETE ANONYME' and 'OTE S.A.'. For the purposes of these terms, 'Stores' shall mean the physical retail stores of the companies GERMANOS and OTE, their online stores (germanos.gr and cosmote.gr), as well as the stores of their commercial partners (licencees) operating under the GERMANOS and COSMOTE trademarks (hereinafter 'Stores').
The purpose of these terms (hereinafter 'Terms') is to inform Promo participants about their obligations and the Organiser’s obligations during participation in the Promo.
1. All permanent residents of Greece who are legally competent and who are at least 18 years old, have an account with COSMOTE Payments in their name, and are holders of the virtual and/or physical payzy VISA debit card (hereinafter 'Card'[1]) that is/are connected to the above payment account (hereinafter 'Participant(s)') are eligible to participate in the Promo.
2. The duration of the Promo, within which purchases by Participants must be completed, is from 00:00:01 on 2 June 2025 through 22:59:59 on 22 June 2025 (hereinafter 'Duration').
3. The Promo pertains to payment transactions exclusively for the purchase of televisions & projectors (which you can find at germanos.gr & at cosmote.gr) of a total value, per transaction, of two hundred and forty-nine euros (€249) or more, carried out with the Card. If the total final value of the transaction results from the purchase of a combination of products included in the Promo and products from other categories, only the value of the products participating in the Promo shall be taken into account for the payzy cashback, provided each of those products costs at least two hundred and forty-nine euros (€249). If the final value of a product included in the Promo does not exceed two hundred and forty-nine euros (€249), the payzy cashback will not be granted, regardless of the total value of the transaction. Also explicitly excluded are other transactions at the Stores, such as bill payments, top-up purchases, and gift cards.
4. In order for participation in the Promo to be valid, participants must pay in full the purchase price, within the Duration, directly and exclusively using the Card at the Stores and not in any other way, such as, for example, when the Participant uses their Card for payment upon delivery via the courier POS.
5. The Participant shall receive an amount in euros to their payment account with COSMOTE Payments (hereinafter 'Cashback') corresponding to 20% of the final value of each product that fall under the Promo, as stated above, irrespective of the total value of the transaction.
Subsequently, in order to benefit from the Promo by receiving the Cashback in accordance with the foregoing, the Participant must attach the purchase receipt from the Stores by 23:59:59 on 6 July 2025, following the series of steps set out below: First, the Participant shall log into the payzy app, click on their profile picture (in the top left), and select the ‘Help & Support’ section. They will then select ‘Ask Yzy’, then ‘Promotional Actions’, and lastly the ‘Earn 20% payzy cashback on ΤV’s & projectors at GERMANOS/COSMOTE’ option, in order to attach the purchase receipt and create a support request with the Yzy Bot.
6. The maximum amount of Cashback that can be credited per payment account under the Promo is four hundred euros (€400), irrespective of the amount and the number of transactions that the Participant carries out.
7. The Promo shall not apply if the final value of any product included in the Promo is less than two hundred and forty-nine euros (€249), for any reason, even due to any discount, offer, or other privilege offered by the Stores. It is clarified that the limit of two hundred forty-nine euros (€249) applies per product and not based on the total value of the transaction.
8. In addition to the aforementioned, the Participant, in the context of the 'Coins' Loyalty Programme, the terms of which are described in the Terms of Use of the 'payzy' App, will collect as many Coins as the amount of the transaction that has been paid for using the Card and which shall be equal to an additional 1% of the amount of the final transaction, which shall be credited to the payment account the Participant maintains with COSMOTE Payments.
9. The Cashback will be paid fifteen (15) days after the date of execution of the payment transaction, provided the Participant has followed the receipt attachment steps correctly, as set out in paragraph 6, and that the payment transaction effected with the Card has been cleared.
10. COSMOTE Payments shall bear no liability towards the Participants and/or any third party for any direct or indirect damages, costs or expenses that may arise from any interruption, malfunction, delay, or any other cause related to the implementation of the Promo.
11. COSMOTE Payments’ liability is strictly limited to paying the Cashback. COSMOTE Payments bears no further liability, nor is it involved in or does it intervene in any problem that may arise in relation with the Stores’ products, for which the latter are solely liable. The Cashback shall not be paid in the event that products purchased in the context of this Promo are returned for any reason to the Store, with their price accordingly credited to the Participant's account, or are exchanged for other products of the Stores that do not fall under the aforementioned categories or whose value is less than two hundred and forty-nine euros (€249).
12. The data controller is the Organiser, and specifically the société anonyme with the trade name ‘COSMOTE PAYMENTS – E-MONEY SERVICES SINGLE-MEMBER SOCIÉTÉ ANONYME’, the details of which are as stated above.
The following personal data of the Participants (hereinafter 'data subjects') shall be collected and processed in order for them to participate in the Promo:
- The details of the Card used to make the payment.
- The date and time of execution of the payment transaction.
- The total amount of payment made using the Card.
- The COSMOTE Payments payment account number.
- The product code from the televisions & projectors category.
- A product purchase receipt.
The data are collected for the purpose of carrying out the Promo in accordance with these Terms and to serve the contract concluded between the Participants and COSMOTE Payments, based on which the Participants maintain an account with COSMOTE Payments, lawfully hold a Card or Cards that are connected to the above payment account, and use said Card or Cards as a means of payment of the price of their transactions with the companies, in accordance with the terms of the General Information regarding Personal Data Protection, which you can find here. Under these terms, the personal data collected are retained for a period of five (5) years from the date of execution of the payment transaction. Upon expiry of this deadline, the data shall be deleted, unless another provision of law or regulatory act requires them to be stored for a longer period, which cannot exceed ten (10) years (e.g. for tax purposes).
The following third companies are also recipients of the data subjects’ personal data:
- NEXI GREECE PROCESSING SERVICES SINGLE-MEMBER SOCIÉTÉ ANONYME, which provides payment processing and card issuing services and has its registered office in Greece.
- NETCOMPANY-INTRASOFT S.A., which provides and supports the operation of COSMOTE Payments' banking systems and has its registered office in Greece.
- Cognity S.A., which supports the operation of the payzy app and has its registered office in Greece.
These third companies are processors on behalf of COSMOTE Payments – in other words, they are partners of COSMOTE Payments – who undertake the execution of a specific project following the instructions of COSMOTE Payments and applying the strict procedures of the OTE Group regarding the processing of personal data. COSMOTE Payments remains liable with regard to the processing of personal data carried out by its partners. The processing of personal data for the above purposes by COSMOTE Payments’ partners takes place mainly in Greece and the European Union (EU).
13. Beyond to the above-mentioned companies, COSMOTE Payments does not process or disclose personal data to third parties, with the exception of cases where their communication/transmission is required by the applicable laws.
14. The Participants have the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data, which are met under the terms and conditions of the applicable legislation:
• Right of access: the right to receive information about the personal data subject to processing (e.g. the purposes of processing, the types of data, the recipients to whom they are communicated, the period for which they are retained) and to be provided copies thereof.
• Right to rectification: the right to request the correction of their data (e.g. correction of contact details).
• Right to erasure: the right to request the deletion of their personal data if they are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were processed or if they withdraw their consent.
• Right to restriction of processing: the right to request the restriction of processing for a specific purpose.
• Right to object: the right to object, in cases in which they do not want their personal data to be processed.
• Right to portability: the right to transfer the data to another controller.
15. The Organiser has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) based on the provisions of the applicable legislation. To contact the Data Protection Officer, data subjects may send an e-mail to customerprivacy@cosmotepayments.gr.
In order to exercise their rights, Participants may send:
a. an e-mail to customerprivacy@cosmotepayments.gr or
b. a fax to +30 2102511888 or
c. a letter to COSMOTE Payments Customer Service department, 99 Kifissias Ave., 15124, Marousi, with the subject 'Exercising of Personal Data Rights'
stating their full name and their mobile telephone or landline connection number.
16. Data subjects retain the right to lodge a complaint, via a special web portal, with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Athens, 1-3 Kifissias Avenue, 115 23 | tel: +30 210 6475600). Detailed instructions for submitting a complaint are provided on the Authority’s website.
The Organiser shall respond to the requests free of charge without delay, within one (1) month from the receipt of the request. In exceptional cases, this deadline may be extended by two (2) months, if the complexity of the request so requires. In any case, the Organiser shall make notification regarding this extension and the reason for the delay.
If it is found that the request is clearly unfounded or excessive, the Organiser reserves the right to request payment of a reasonable fee to its satisfaction, taking into account the administrative costs for its execution or even to refuse to follow up the request.
17. The Organiser shall take appropriate organisational and technical measures to secure the data and protect them from accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, prohibited dissemination or access, and any other form of unlawful processing.
18. To the extent allowable under the legislation in force, the Organiser shall not be liable for leaks of the Participants’ personal data due to their disclosure of any of the data via third-party or other internet sites.
19. Terms 12 – 20 pertain to the collection and processing of personal data of Participants in the context of Promo. In all other respects, the processing of the personal data of the data subjects upon commencement and during the implementation of their contractual relationship with COSMOTE Payments (indicatively, registering with the ‘payzy’ app, carrying out transactions, etc.) shall take place in accordance with the terms of the General Information regarding Personal Data Protection, which is available here.
20. The Terms shall continue to bind Participants even after the expiry of the Promo and for as long as the right of access to the content is retained, in accordance with the above.
21. During the Promo, the Organiser reserves the right to amend and/or revoke it, change the dates on which it will be held or any other of its terms, change or amend the percentage of Cashback and its method of payment, informing Participants by any appropriate means (e.g. by e-mail or push notification or text message or via its website).
22. Participation in the Promo requires and implies the explicit and unreserved acceptance of all these Terms. Furthermore, the Organiser shall not be liable for any malfunction that may result in the temporary or permanent cessation of the Promo.
23. Participants must act legally and within the framework of fair dealing and these Terms. If any Participant act or omission is deemed by COSMOTE Payments as illegal, abusive, or non-contractual, then the latter reserves the right, among other things, to disqualify the Participant from the Promo.
24. The Terms are governed by Greek law, and any dispute as to their interpretation and/or application shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Athens, with express prorogation of any other local jurisdiction.
