- If you do not recognize a transaction on your account and believe your card may have been compromised.
- If you recognize the transaction but now know that the merchant is fraudulent. For example, if the website no longer exists.
- If you recognize the transaction and the merchant is legitimate, but there is an issue with the transaction, such as being overcharged, receiving the wrong product/service (or not receiving anything at all), the product/service is not as expected, or you did not receive the promised refund.
If any of the above applies:
We suggest you contact the merchant. Refunds for most transactions can be handled by the merchant without a dispute. If you need to dispute the transaction, make sure to keep any evidence of the merchant’s response, as this will significantly help your case.
