If you did not approve the transaction, you will need to check the following:
- It’s possible that you have saved your card on the merchant’s website, which could have triggered the charge.
- When you agree to store your card on a site with transaction acceptance and push notifications, the merchant, in order to serve you faster, may send future transactions in a way that doesn’t require a push notification, assuming that the transaction is authorized by you.
- You might have consented to recurring charges, like subscriptions.
To avoid this, you can remove your card from the merchant’s website to prevent future charges.
However, if you believe that none of the above applies and a charge was made without your approval, and you want to prevent similar charges in the future, you can freeze your card through the "Cards" section and select "Freeze card."
Additionally, you can cancel your card and request a new one. To cancel your card, go to the "Cards" section in the app, then to "Settings," and select "Cancel card." To issue a new card, go back to the "Cards" section and choose the type of card you want.
In any case, you can and submit a request with the yzy bot through the "Help & Support" section by selecting "Ask Yzy" so we can assist you!
