- Confirm that you have your debit card and account passwords in your possession.
- Investigate the name of the merchant. Sometimes the merchant's name differs from the company name.
- Check the date of the transaction. Keep in mind that the date shown in the transaction history is the date on which the transaction was cleared. This means the transaction itself may have taken place on an earlier date than what is shown.
- Find the proof of purchase and compare all the details mentioned previously.
